The strategic plan for the family evolves over time and should be reviewed every five to ten years. It is worthwhile for the entire family to undertake such a review by going on a family retreat.

The Javellana Family has been so kind as to share with us their Vision/Mission Statement. It is a product of common reflection among the members of their household. Nacing & Nena are active members of the Christian Family Movement of the Philippines (CFM).

Ours will be a family where love, justice, brotherhood and peace shall reign. This will be achieved through a systematic effort of coming together (during breaks), doing things together and having fun together. There shall be efforts taken to preserve the family values of: respect for each other, sharing what we have with others, being service oriented. We will avoid behaviors that alienate us from others, conduct that expresses arrogance and indifference to the plight of others. Each member shall be given a chance to develop his/her particular talents which shall be used to promote the greater good. We shall do this by making Christ the center of our family and our endeavor.
